In February 2021 the ARC Future Timber Hub completed a highly successful Research Showcase.  This was a series of lunchtime webinars on each Hub project which showcased its research and partners facilities.
 

Day 1 - Monday 8 February

ARC Future Timber Hub - The University of Queensland Structures & Architecture Showcase

ARC Future Timber Hub projects covered were:

  1. Prefabrication and digital fabrication strategies for large-scale timber construction
  2. Alternative uses for under-valued sawmill products in innovative timber structures

ARC Future Timber Hub projects covered were:

  1. Progressive collapse (robustness) resistance of post-and-beam mass timber buildings
