On behalf of The University of Queensland (UQ), you are warmly to attend the Official Launch of theARC Future Timber Hub, an Australian Research Council funded Industrial Transformation Research Hub for Advanced Solutions to Transform Tall Timber Buildings.

As Australia’s leading timber research collaboration, the ARC Future Timber Hub brings together experts from Industry, Government, and Academia; all committed to challenging the barriers to timber construction by pursuing research-based strategies and innovative technologies to boost the timber industry.

Following the official welcome and introduction, guests will have an opportunity to tour the Hub’s research facilities, including an exhibition of Hub Projects, timber structures, fire demonstrations and student work.

From 1:00pm until 3:00pm guests are invited to attend the Towards Achieving Tall-Timber’s Maximum Potential panel discussion. You’ll have the opportunity to hear from leading timber practitioners and researchers, along with representatives from the Hub’s industry partners.
